Gigi Garth really lives by her motto– “Give of yourself and expect nothing in return.”

Our 2011 Christmas Party wouldn’t have been possible without one driving force that led the way. That force is Gigi Garth, Bellevue resident, caterer and federal government employee. Gigi prepared food, monetary donations toward miscellaneous items and catering services, mailed out solicitations for sponsorships, and even made personal visits with several managers in the Nashville area for donations. She gained donations from Kroger, Publix, State Farm Insurance, Dollar General, Coca-Cola, and Action Nissan. Gigi was so “honored” to volunteer her many hours to Youth Life’s end-of-the-year party, that she is already planning for our 2012 party!

“I like to provide service to events that will be beneficial and meaningful to the community, children and people in general. Volunteering my time and service has become second nature to me,” says Gigi.
It is this passion that was truly evident in her many hours of work that she put into our Christmas Party. With her strong efforts, we were able to provide students and their families with a wonderful, warm holiday meal and social event.
“I think the program teaches each child to be positive, and it creates a better outlook for children as they prepare for the challenges of life,” says Gigi.
We would like to thank Gigi for her undoubtable passion to live by her motto– “Give of yourself and expect nothing in return.”
